i am moving a tank from sons bedroom into the living room. Now I know about getting my bog tanks perfectly level and using styrofoam as an underbuffer but wondering how critical levelness it is for a 30 gallon.

Any advice always apreciated

Thickness of the glass and the way the silicon is applied are also critical. I would just use carpenter's level to check if it's levelled. Never risk your tank to become uneven.
