Well I have never heard of the garlic but I use a extra tube from a test kit. Drop a couple pieces of food in there and a couple of drops of vitamin C. Just enough drops for the food to absorb the liquid. Not to much because the food will get soggy and the fish will not eat it. I forget what the name is but it is for marine tanks. I know there is a MFKer who makes his food from scratch and from the sounds of it is quite a process. I will see if I can find the recipe in some past threads. Unless he is reading and would like to chime in.
