I have Pictus cats in my 75. They are great cats cause they are active even during the day. I have Ralphs in my 120, but you never see them cause they are so crazy nocturnal

I am very lucky in that my raphael comes out A LOT when I feed my 30 and there is not even a lot of room for him to move it is so heavily planted. So anyways, a small group of pictus (like 3-5) would work well then?

I started with 5, but ended up rehoming 2 to my friends tank. 3 seems to work well with a 75. One on each end and 1 in the middle. Super active though and flashy.

Yeah, I do like geophagus. my LFS has a really pretty one right now and I was tempted to reserve it but then I looked at the price: $200. Just a little bit out of my price range. For one fish anyways. But they do have some smaller and cheaper types of geos like altifrons, tapajos, and jurupari. Worried about over stocking though but I'll figure something out. But back to the bottom feeders, I am probably pushing it here but is there any more room after the raphael, the pleco, and some pictus for anything else?

Speaking of the bottom feeders (again) my LFS has both regular and four-lined pictus and I like the four-lines better but I know they are bigger and there is no room for a school of them. Would it be a better choice to get either 3 or 4 pictus or 1 four-line pictus and a synodontis or something else small-medium.

I have one 4 lined and a syno. My four line never schooled with others if anything its hostile to other catfish

Oh then maybe I can just get one four line.
Alright i think I have a stocking plan:

6 Giant Danios
1 Green Severum
1 Firemouth
1 Convict
1 jurupari eartheater
1 Striped raphael catfish
1 sailfin pleco (until to big)
1 four line pictus
1 synodontis eupterus
1 rainbow shark

If this is to much, I will get rid of the eartheater or firemouth but I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, you've been very helpful.

Loose the earth eater.cons and Firemouth are both low level dwelling fish so they'd conflict
