Severum and parrot?

sevs weren't used for parrots
actually someone here on MFK had posted, with pics as how some of his hybrid fry looked like parrots, but with a different coloration

I could be wrong, but aren't male red sevs. infertile like male parrots and male SRT?

rotkeil is a naturaly ocuring varient. super red sevs are manmade. mine is rotkeil

the Blood Parrot is actually believed to be a male Midas cichlid crossed with a Female synspilum that carries the short bodied gene.

This is true, it is the synspillum that caries the gene needed to make parrots, if you breed a synspillum that does'nt have this certain gene with a midas you will just get Rose Queens
