Severum Behaviour?

they are good cichlid community fish:D
 
Whenever I put my hand on top of the tank it comes out thinking its getting food :)
 
I own a 7 inch Gold Severum and he is always following me when I am in the aquarium room at our house. He is always the first one to the top of the tank when feeding time as well. Definitely one the favorite cichlids I own!

Definitely love to come see what you're doing. I've got a pair of golds - great looking fish and it's highly amusing watching them work as a team to take on the bigger fish. I've got a big JD in the same tank and he loves to try and bully either Severum....but the two of them coming at him from different angles always ends with him turning tail and fleeing ;)
 
My 7" Red Spotted Severum poses for pictures, right in the middle of the tank. He nips at any fish that gets in the way and then goes right back to posing. My 8" Rokeil Severum is just like a dog. He loves to be petted and he wags his tail like he's happy when I go near him.
