Severum/EBA stocking questions

Black skirts should be fine just don't buy tiny babies. Severums don't eat small fish in my experience. Not sure about EBAs, but they don't get too large and I have seen them in planted communities with small tetras. So probably fine.
I've also heard that severums are highly peaceful, but the EBAs, while also a more peaceful cichlid, are still a cichlid, so I don't want anything that will fit in their mouth. I'll probably try and get full grown or at least mostly full grown and introduce them well before any of the big guys are large enough to eat them, in my experience, a lot of fish don't get as aggressive with long time tank mates that have grown together! That said, I hope all of them will help eat some of these Molly/guppy hybrid fry, I have a thousand of the things!

Thanks for the reply! I planned on upping that number to 30% minimally, but 40% optimally (I need to get a better set up done, right now I'm carrying 5 gallon buckets one at a time to my back yard, add in my other tanks and I'm carrying 800+ lbs of water a week haha), but with the over filtration and the live plants, my nitrate levels have never spiked, with that heavy of a load in there though, i'd rather be safe than lose some of my scaly babies!

You need a water changer like the Python No Spill.

Yes, the Python is definitely a life saver when it comes to water changes. Makes it so much easier ( and easier on the back!).
