Why doesn't my gold show so much red? I got them both full yellow and the dominant male started showing red patterns some time ago. But now they are faded... Why? My friend bought his one full yellow colour too but now he's one has extremely nice red colouring... I feed mine pellets usually. 3 kinds and all are said to enchance colour. One is suitable for aros while the other is for red parrots to enchance red. The last one is to enchance young goldfish and koi's red coloruing. My friend feeds them goldfish food said to enchance red and bloodworms.

i had a gold sev one time that displayed some red facial worming that was nice, but sadly he died at 5.5 inches. so ididnt get to see if the colors stuck around. i feed omega one pellets, frozen bloodworm, spirulina brine, sometimes beefheart, sometimes feeders, And occasionally zucchini,
