Severum Problem

Hello MFK users,
Today, as my mom was feeding our fish, our Severum overate. Immediatly, a bubble popped out from the "waste" hole. Is he/she giving birth? Did he/she's intestined pop out? Is he/she constipated with a clear bubbly poop? Can you please helpo find out what happened, and if so, how to fix our Severum

Clear or white poop usually means a parasite. If my fish get constipated I either don't feed them for a few days or mix it up with some veggies or freeze dried so they get some texture in their diet.

Another thing to be added, the bubble is still attached to the hole. He is not distressed however!

sounds like it farted. seriously.

fish can do that.

I wouldn't worry.

long string white waste can be a sign of a problem. but not a bubble. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Today, the bubble wasn't there, so he/she might have farted.

Also, right now, we don't have any other severums in the tank. however, we had a small gold severum as well as the severum right now. they may have bred, but we are not sure. i will try to keep everyone posted if the bubble comes back.

Tooday, after my mom fed our fish, the severum had a regular poop.
