severum tank mate ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have mine with tall body tetras and angels.

a 20g tank won't even do the severums so get the tank first!

thnx guys 4 all the comment

u had been great help

Ive seen success in the past with fire mouths, chocolate cichlids and uarus, but be careful. The last two are of a similar shape to sevs and this can cause problems.
do u mean that they may be pair up
will, it wouldn't be problem cos i don't wont to rais fry any way

Why not just got some more sevs? mis some mouth brooders with substrate spawners, some reds, golds and greens. Always looks a treat
i like the mix in tank , it boring to me to have 1 kind of fish

Bigger tank first, fish decisions second
the bigger are almost ready

i have 60 gal tank that i have some fishs in it but i'm gonna sell them this weekend

after they gone i will move the severum and some fish in it

Discus obviously are out of the question

to tell u the truth

i'm already have 2 discus with them (2 inch) and they get along well

but i'm afraid ofwhat will hapen when they get big (;;^^)

I have a couple red-eyed tetra with my sevs. I promise they couldn't care less. Discus are bad to me, not from an aggression standpoint, but they will eventually get out competed for food by the severums.

By the way yours looks good.

And yes even a 60 is pushing it, unless you stay on top of those water changes.

The shape issue arises during mating aggression, not cross breeding.

Discus and sevs might work, but expect them to get a few bumps and scrapes when you get a breeding pair of sevs.

Nice looking super red btw

um i would be worried about the discus as they are much weaker compared to sev's .
