If I'm reading this correctly OP will be keeping 3 sevs and a black molly other fishes will be rehome.

right. so as for now there will be 7 severums, a molly, and a gudgeon in a 50gallon tank. he wants to add a texas. granted most the severums are small and if he puts a small texas in there it could last for maybe 3 months. severums grow pretty quickly. i've never owned a texas but since its a cichlid i imagine they would grow just a quickly.

if your growing them out i'd wait till you move the 3smaller sevs to your friends tank before you add anything else

yes I'm growing them. My husband is getting me a 120g to move my oscars into and these will be moiving to the 90g in October

Did you mean all 7 of your severums and the other fish will be in the 50g till October 2009?

no the 4 severums will be going in a month or two i hope.
