Severum Tank?

I'm thinking I might keep the firemouth and trade in the JD and BP for two severums...I was thinking a turquoise or green severum with either a red or gold severum to add some color to the tank...with these 3 fish, is there room for a group of smaller fish, such as tiger barbs or zebra danios or possibly a smaller school of both with keeping up on the water changes?

My firemouth was the reason my JD was skittish.

I don't like barbs, so I would say no to those, too nippy. Two severums and a firemouth? FM are very territorial even though they are usually all bark no bite. Severums will eat small fish like neons and cardinals, so that's out. IMO you need larger, 3in or so, tetra or daino with the other three. I think you should stay with two male sevs because you don't want them to pair up in a tank that size and with those inhabitants. Remember a school of five 3inchers takes some room and sevs can get to eight inches themselves. Oh, I love golds. I have two myself.
