Severums are the most diverse in color in my opinion.

They all have a different pattern or color to them. Many are green with a twist of red, some blackish, some grey. Some have tearlines and others have spots, they are very different in color. Anyone know why>?
 
Golden severums are one of my favorite coloration ever! I have yet to see other diverse of colors around here.

the reason is 'cos there are quite a number of severum species. Heros severus, H.efasciatus, H.appendiculatus, and several other undescribed species or subspecies or even locality variants.
