severums or convicts

I like Severums better but I'd do 2 female Cons before I'd do a male/female Severum. A Severum pair in a 120 g with an Oscar probably wouldn't go over well. Convict females are really pretty. Their fins get teal and blue and green and they've got those red stomachs. Stay small and quick enough to get away from an Oscar. If I keep typing I may just have to set up another tank of female Cons.......

I'd do Severums. Convicts although they can be cool are a dime a dozen and I just don't see too many nice Severums these days. I used to see them all the time.

yeh i could use the extra cash now to find some severums anyone got any

your typical petco/petsmart will carry them most of the time, if not they are on pretty much every fish store's avaiable list as they are common fish (unless you want particular kinds of sevs)

I have an idea, if you like both, how about getting a male severum and a male convict? I recommend not getting a pair of anything or your other fish could be jacked up or dead when the pair breed. I think you have room for all four fish and like someone previously said go for a rarer Severum if possible.
