I`ve got a 120g tank and at the mo i`ve got the back painted dark blue and black sand.
Now i have no doubt in my mind that the poly`s colour is better on the black but my sevs arn`t all that bright really.
My sevs are in my sig, and what i want to know is weather play sand will help bring their colour out a bit more because they won`t darken to blend with the black.
If you can all understand that thens its all good. I`ve had a couple of beers and am squinting at the screen as it is... lol

And all the sevs are only in there to pair of then they`ll be moved...

My rotkiel is wild and really colourful but the 2 smaller green`s just look bland. Even more than i thought the would be on black sand, i know the big green should be quite plaine but at the same time i`d hoped for a little more colour.
I think i`ll take the black out and put the play sand in and if i wan`t the black back a little i`ll just add it to the playsand. I think if i put the play sand on top and then don`t like it i`ve wasted the black which cost a bomb.
