I had my red head severum as well as my big gold female spawn three times in the past month. I now have about 100 fry swimming around in a tank with rays, cichla, and smaller cats. I could probably save them but I didn't know if anyone knew what they would look like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure i fully understand your question enough to give you a knowledgable response.

Do you know what the babies would look like grown up? I know it has probably happened before. I just have never seen pictures of red shoulder severums that were crossed with a gold severum.

I think gold is a recessive trait, meaning it won't be passed down to the fry unless both parents have it... Kinda like EBJD. Your fry would simply look like the dad... but if you take a rotkeil male from this batch of fry (which would have the gold gene) and breed it again to the gold female (his mother), you would get something like 25% gold fry. Or something like that lol

Sounds good to me. The rotkeil was triple the price so I am okay with that lol.

I have no idea, but they should make some sexy babies :)

Just let them get picked off, don't need any more hybrids floating about.

You would just have to grown them out.
