severums with black ghost knife

I want to add a bgk to my severum tank. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had problems with that combo before I do. Thanks for any advice.

I have a BGK who shares the tank with a SR and Rotkeil. No issues at all.

good combo unless you happen to have a particularly aggressive individual severum

I tried it with a small BGK and sub adult Sevs and the knife starved out competed for food.

I've got an 11" BGK with a full-grown green severum and three large juvenile gold severums. Absolutely no problems. The BGK has been in the tank from 3" and on.

I brougth home my little bgk Saturday night. He seems to be doing well. The severums have pretty much ignored him. I have seen them spit sand at him behind "his" rock. Not sure what that means. Pretty funny to watch.

i have had no isues with the combo but i also have about 40 africans with them aswell
just make sure the ghost has its cave and it will be fine

Yeah the BGK needs a cave or shelter or some kind of territory. Make sure it gets enough food too. The good thing is the BGK is nocturnal so the cichlids may ignore it more because of this. I've had a BGK with cichlids and they all ignored it. But I had 1 cichlid in particular later on harass the BGK. To the point they both fought and caused damage to eachother.
