I have he chance to get a 6-7" Albino Severum,they will be going in my ank with my 2 10-12" Florida Gars.The Gars have never shown any aggression.Are severums aggressive?And how big can they get??Thanks.

what size is your tank? severums are generally peaceful fish and only sometimes show aggression toward their own species and should do fine with gar
i have a florida gar and a severum and they get along fine, both IMO are quite pieceful i think you should do just fine
It will be fine, Sevs don't bother much.
Hell sevs work with tons of fish. Even the more aggressive cichlids it can hold its own if need be. Ive had them with everything from tropical community fish to angels to bichirs to more aggressive american cichlids like dempseys.

Severums will get 8 - 10" depending on a bunch of different factors.
Chances are, it's not an "albino" severum, but a gold severum. I've never seen a true albino severum in all the years I've kept fish.
