still male IMO. Every batch that my pair has produced, you can clearly tell M from F at that size. F always has "some" red to her belly.

I'm not convinced it is male. The body shape makes it look female. Males, even at a very small size will have a more "pronounced" head. Not neccesarily a nuchal hump, but it's hard to explain without showing side by side pictures (which I don't have). Also, I've never owned a non-breeding female convict that has an orange belly 24/7. I thought that my female Honduran Red Point would be an exception, but she laid eggs within six days of her arrival.
