Sex my blue acara

Ive had my blue acara for some time and have never really gotten an answer as to whether its male or female... Its just starting to develop some extensions on its dorsal and anal fins and its about 4.5" TL.
also, i think i can see a pointed breeding tube once in a while.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that might be on the Bujurquina rather than an Andinoacara ... no guess on the exact species though. Maybe dogofwar or ryansmith might know.

if ur seeing a breeding tube - female
if ur noticing fin elongation - male

looks to me like a male but the bt u suggested makes me wonder

ive also noticed it flaring its gills several times if that means anything..
as for the possibility of it being a different species, id like some more input on that...
and im not sure if its even a breeding tube i see. its very small, only maybe 2mm at most, and only showing sometimes.
