I just bought a brand new jd and the lfs said it was a female but I'm want to double check soo can be sure !!!! I will be thankfull for the info

definitely male, you really cant trust most lfs employees dont really know what they are talking about when it comes to fish, unfortunately, can you get some clearer pics of it without the flash?

Why do you specifically want a female? Do you plan on trying to breed JD? If the lfs employee told you this one was a female I seriously doubt he'll be able to differentiate a M from F if you go back and say you want a F considering this one is clearly M and he thought it was F.
