sex my cichlids please?

the green terror was in a overstocked/mismanaged 55g with a crap load of fish ranging from a wolffish...to a koi...firemouth...tiger shovelnose. he is finding homes for them all since he is moving and i wanted the GT and his pimelod gracilis which is almost a foot long.
the midas was in a 75 but the stand was a custom made hutch by his dad who is a carpenter but it started to rot the wood so they dismantled the 75 and put the midas in a 35g hex which was crazy so he offered me it and i obviously accepted.
i noticed the midas chases everyone around but goes the easiest on the parrot(even though he will chase it at times).
what would be some potential pre-breeding signs?
it would be cool to see the behaviour but i dont support hybrids (believe it or not) and the catfish would eat them anyways.

I beleive the orange and white midas/red devil is a male from what i read the males have dorsal fins that on the tip stick straight up!
