yeah i notice the male is more light colored and doesnt have all that black at the base of the tail

mine paired up with a green terror. but it got so aggressive it killed 2 fish while i was at work and i decided to find him a new home .. shortly after my green terror looked depressed and died sucked.

No lol. Its not that easy to pair two separate species. I've had male and females of the same species and they could care less about each other, I've also had evil females of many species. My current female Dempsey for one is way more aggressive then the male. Its probably a female based on what it's showing color wise
