Well liz I tried taking a picture but it's really hard I got some but they really aren't good.my reddevil moves to much and I have the crappiest camera in the world.I tried the feeding method but he ate to fast and I think I overfedhim LOL sorry for the poor quality I'll be posting the pics in about 5 min, and if it helps the tube seems roundish and pointing downwards,very small tube

Ok well the pics are really pointless.so let me just describe wat I see, I'm looking at my reddevil and I see a big hole and infront is a smaller hole.in the big hole I see a very small pointy stick and stuck to that stick is like a small ball all pointing downwards,but if the red devil was a male wouldn't he of killed my jd by now?who is also a male?

It doesn't matter if its male or female. When it feels the need it will kill at will. You maybe could have gotten a decent tempered Midas/Devil.
However! If it is a female and you're sure the Dempsey is a male then eggs would have been or will eventually be produced.

Lmao, they have been together for almost 2 weeks.usually the red devil kills anything that goes inthe tank and nothing lasts longer than 2-3 hours but he or she doesn't seem to go after the jd for some reason
i'd say if its 4-5 Yrs old and only 8'' that alone says its female if its been properly cared for the lack of a hump on its head also points to female
If its 4-5 years old and only 8" then I would bet my ridiculous government salary and all my tips from stripping that it is a female.
