Sex My Festae

can you guys help sex my festae it is now 4"+... i believe its a male.... but i have no expierence sexing festae and from what i read he seems to be male but i would like to hear from the experts... ohh and do any of you guys know how to get this guy to come out more hes stays in his cave all day i was lucky to get the pics.. it doesnt even eat in front of me i have to leave the room so he can eat... he has no tankmates, i frequently stand in front of the tank but he just hides...

From what Ive heard females have less spots on the dorsal fin and seeing a female grow up my self Im leaning more towards female imo

Having had 5 juvi females that I thought were males because of the blue spots, I'd say the black in the dorsal is a much more reliable way of sexing them, I've seen females with more and less blue than that depending on their place in the pecking order. I'd say male.
