You're absolutely correct. I'm fairly new to keeping festae so less chance of me seeing males with bars. Was just going by what mine look like and what I'm seeing on Youtube.

Yea i know ive been doing that also it seems as if ill never knw until they spawn looks like, they are some hard fish to sex i see... Lol yours look nice btw!!
