The JD is prob a male....female JDs usually have blue patches all over there gill plates.....the flowerhorn is still very young to tell and they are very hard when young because I have seen females with kok and trailers off their fins.....its not untill they get larger where you can truelly tell sex....as with cons i think its the female that gets orange speckles on its belly.....

ok well im glad that the con is a male. i guess ill just have to wait until the fh gets larger to sex it again. the JD im still unsure but it sure is a slow grower compared to my other fishs. although, its the most aggresive and dominant one in the tank to even my oscar which is about 5-6". thanks everyone! any other input on what you think the jd sex might be would be helpful, thanks!
