I would say you have a female as well..can anyone help me, my father has a gourmi and it is at the top of the tank with its mouth above the water..he eats. and he swims down sumtimes but hes but at the top like that for like 1month alredy. i can figure it out. can anyone help me please?

Females tend to have a rather rounded body... Your GT has that... I'd say definitely female, and a very cute one at that!!

At synrgst you'll get some good replies if you start your own thread. But from personal experience I'd start by adding aquarium salt and raising the temp to 80+.
