It may be too early to sex my Jaguar but if anyone can it would be good to know. First I thought it was a male but now I am not so sure. Let me know your thoughts on its sex. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Kind of hard to tell at this point. Baby jags look very similar when younger. Here's Caesar, my male jag. He's about 10 inches now
The spots are very solid and thick. From the pics, I would guess female but I think you'll have to wait a little longer before you will know for sure.

Thanks for the posts guys I have read a lot of Jag posts on the forum and thought he/she might need to grow a couple more inches before it would be possible to determine the sex. Just thought I'd throw a post out anyways to see if any of you Jag experts could tell yet.Thanks for the input.
Nice Jag. Hope mine looks like that one day. Also can Jags be sexed based on fins (pointed fins for males rounded for female) like most other American Cichlids?
you might find this interesting, my F1 pair in pre spawning mode. Jag love is a little aggressive.
