Sex my JD please?

Can some one please sex my JD. only have two pictures as its curious but will dash away when it sees my phone. Pictures token with iphone so not best pictures. Also sorry for the water stains on glass. also sorry for the ugly gravel.

Im pretty sure its a male. Males dont have beards on the bottom but females do... How big is it?

I will try and get a better Picture of it. On the size I'm going to say about 6-7 inches.

Mine is 9 an half inches. If it is a male it will start to grow a bump on its head when its bigger. I will see if I can post a pic of mine so you can see.

Male, there are no spangles on the bottom of the gill plate.

Thats a male for sure, no blue on the gill plate.
