Sex my JD???

Almost no doubt its a male. There is no blue on its chin and that is 99% a sure sign. My jd was about an inch long when I got her and I knew she was a female because of the beard,

Below is a photo of my female, you'll notice how her face has "worm" markings and a lot more color on the bottom.

Never heard it described as 'worms' before.

I am not sure but I read that females have blue coloration down there lateral line and males only have it to the gills, so it looks female to me.

lol u read wrong its the females witch have blue smudge markings on the gill plate male are a ready couler around the face as is this one id sayy 100% male !
