I'm thankful that I finally got some good vent shots to confirm sex of my Midas..

How big was this fish when you got it, and what did you raise it with?. Also, if you picked it out, was it the dominant fish in the tank?

I got her about a year ago it was roughly 5-6" here is a pic from the tank at the lfs I was working at. it was a trade in. I raised her with a JD, Mayan, Texas, Convicts, and a few Giant Danio that I've had over 3 years. tank is 135g

I confirmed she's a girl.. The presence of eggs answered my questions. The only males I have in the tank are Cons which I doubt will fertilize her eggs.
