It's a gold. Get closeups of the face and that may help with the sexing. Size and finnage suggest male but I've been wrong before.

Was it sold as a super yellow? If so, I wish people would quit slapping fancy labels on severums to sell them. "Super yellow" is just a gold with good color.

Gold sevs are easy. Just look for facial markings....no need for anything else....
