Just looking at ur pics Bastardfish, it looks like ur female. Doesnt look like ur male. Tough one.

Its a male Just have great colors. I been breeding these for a while now and i am almost 100% sure male.

well i have couple of females with a very light black color on the gills and the dorsal

but still clear that there is a spot ..

so i vote for a high quality breed male

the female looks exactly like urs

and the male in more lighter in color

she is very very very yellow in color so i think it is a she .. lol

yeah it's a tricky one. kinda has the dot in the gill plate but it's red which is thowing me off a bit. plus no black in the dorsal and has a lot of red on it's belly.
