Sex/rate my Rose Queen Flowerhorn

I got it about 6 months ago, was good in a community setting for a while and then one day I added some blood parrots to my tank and it snapped so I had to remove it. I've since tried adding it to other tanks and it just goes right after my other fish.. I've had it divided in a 20gallon with a blue labriden (also very aggressive) for a while until I could figure out what to do with it and then today I come home to find my divider broken down. Figured these two would have killed each other. Apparently not, they're best buds LOL. I was watching them after a waterchange and they've cleaned out a area but neither of their tubes are down. I'll see what happens but I don't really think a blue labriden X rose queen will make the greatest looking hybrids.

what do you guys think? Anybody care to sex either of them? Both are about 5-6"TL if it helps. I can never tell vents apart, I need to post some shots of the vent and let you guys decide. I'm hoping the rose queen is a female because if it is, I'm going to grow it out and breed it with the flowerhorn in my avatar.
 
Rose Queen I would almost say that im 100% sure thats a female. Her color is excellent! Very strong.

As for the Blue lab, kinda ugly but has some good looking traits. If that made any sense??

He has a great face! And the reds on the edges of the dorsal/tail/anal are sweet but the red around his pec fin is kinda unique. How big does that fish usually get up to?
 
Not good at judging male/female but the rose queen look great

I can't disagree with you, he is kind of ugly but he's different. One of the coolest looking fish in the face though. Not a lot of people have these.

the rose queen just laid about 1000 eggs:headbang2

all of them look fertilized by the blue labriden except for about 15 or so. Who would have though these two 5" fish would breed in a 20gallon for me? :screwy:

I may be the only guy who's ever hybridized a blue labriden (that I know of) LOL. The pure strain people are going to hate me for this one but I have to see what the fry turn out like. Anybody want any of their offspring? Let me know in a few months, I will be able to ship them at the buyers expense.

:WHOA:What?? The actually laid and sprayed eggs?? WOW!! I gotta see these things when they grow. Crazy.
