I may be the only guy who's ever hybridized a blue labriden (that I know of) LOL. The pure strain people are going to hate me for this one but I have to see what the fry turn out like. Anybody want any of their offspring? Let me know in a few months, I will be able to ship them at the buyers expense.

i think that parrots are red devil X red headed cichlid. that is what it said on the parrotcichlid.com site. they have the story of the creation translated from chinese.

your are right about the red headed cichlid, but the red devil was the difference. although most midas/ red devils are hybrids in the hobby, they are supposed to be two different species.
 
all the eggs are already gone. One of my close family members is in the hospital right now so it's not of importance for me but... I will (hopefully) have the female rose queen hooked up with the male in my sig soon.
