I'd have bought the third anyway else the male would pester the female too much or alternatively if i only wanted the two i'm sure i could have got enough cash for one of the females to get me a decent male.

I think i'm going to keep it just Henlei but what are peoples thoughts on mixing these with leo/BD? Do they turn out nice or not really?

I don't think i've saw a nice one personally

Its a great mix Ash, some of the best blackies around are Leo x Hens, I'm sure there will be a few back me up on this one, perhaps a few pics.
 
Here you go bones. A very nice hybrid indeed. As nice as the p13xp14.imo.
Not every one will agree im sure... but I like this hybrid. Just dont see too many around. The one in this pic I think belongs to a member here. And is particularly good looking

Is is a nice mix if they turn black and white but its not always the case as with all hybrids you never know how they will turn out

Yeah that's pretty true, the two pictures above certainly look more black ray than brown ray.

Sometimes i see black rays with yellowish spots - why is that? is that something to do with quality?
 
I would think that the yellowish spots would be from some type of mixing of other species. Henlei Has some yellow in its spots
