Unsurprising; the fish has taken over Florida for a reason. They grow fast, live anywhere, breed like rabbits and are mean bastards. And count on yours being a She.

the last time i was at shedd aquarium in chicago, they had a pair of festae on display with babies that was very cool! the two parents looked awesome...

Yeah i work at petco, we sell red terrors but they are the actually mayans. Only once did we get c. festae in and i took them ALL. But they were all sick so only 2 survived.

cool Ive had mixed results from various Petcos. there are 3 close to me, 1 has crap for fish, 1 has ok cichlids, an the 3rd has some nice fish good looking uncommon fish. Saw a few nice Aros an bought one they actually had some dragon gobies to.

Mostly I travel to acouple diff LFs that are within 30-45min from me, to get most of my fish.
