to the OP the 3 pics are the same fish? from the 1st pic i would say male,i got 5 growing out now myself.only 3 inchers.i had a male for sure a few years back,here a pic

Great looking fish Virgil. Chocolates are one the best looking cichlids IMO I love the colors and classic heads up posture.
thanks aquanero,i miss that fish! that pic was 4 years ago.when i recently lost fish due to the hurricane,i said now is my chance to get chocolates again,i have 5 growing out now
