Sexing EBJD

Hello I’ve tried to get some decent photos but every time I go close the the tank they all think it’s feeding time and crowd each other lol but trying to find out if my EBJD is male or female not interested in breeding but would just be nice to know thanks for any comments in advance

i think it's too small to determine sex.

No filters just wouldn’t stop swimming about to get a decent photo fair enough if too young to determine sex yet

How big/old is it? Looks too young to tell even for a regular Jack.
Due to the heavy inbreeding used to get EBJD, most of the typical sex indicators (like blue on the gills) are lost. Head shape can help, but isn’t the most reliable and gets messed up in the Ebjd anyway. Venting or watching them breed would be the best way to tell on this fish.

Agree with the others, it's too young to tell the gender. You did get some good pics in there! Hard to do!
