So, do male balzanii lay eggs??

I just came home from work to find someone has laid on a piece of wood, and the big male is guarding them closely and chasing all three of the other "males" away. My uarus also laid today for the first time since I moved them to the 160g.

My female has blue spangles, but not as much as the male. They are due a water change tonight so I'll take some pics after that. Fingers crossed the eggs are still there. I'm confident I have identified the pair, the male is obvious, and this morning one of the three smaller "males" was guarding the eggs while the big male was off swimming around the tank chasing the other two. I've removed the two others, and they're in a tank with my other large male, so maybe another of the "males" will start laying eggs....
