Sexing Gymnogeophagus

They are Rhabdotus, I've seen the listing for Norte out of Florida, do not know why they do not list the exact collecting site, all the fish being raised on Florida were brought in by Spencer Jack and he had collection locations for all of them, I would say big male, possible small male and a female. So after looking at the site for a bit I've decided that I have Gymnogeophagus n. sp. "Sequeira" http://www.aqvaterra.com/cichlids_gymnogenys_n_sp_sequeira.php . What do you guys think?

Back to sexing, my two small fish will circle each other, kinda looking like they are sizing each other up and then the bigger male will come and chase them away from each other. So is this interaction specific to males or do both sexes do this?
