Sexing Jaguar Cichlid

Ya hes pretty aggressive when he wants to be. I know they can be pretty hard on females so I am just watching to see if I need to remove the female. Ya most people would stock it heavier. I wanted to have it setup with just one male jag or a pair if I could get one formed. I plan on adding some more wood and rock maybe some plants. Then I will throw some young convicts in and see how long they make it. I wouldnt mind a pair to survive and let the jag control the population. If they look like they are starting to take a foot hold I will feed the other tanks with some babies as well. I also thought about some schooling fish also when I get more cover for them in the tank.
I know its a big tank but when you watch him swim around I feel like its not really big enough even for him and hes still not fully grown.
