Sexing L104 Clown Plecos

Hope this is helpful. I am still new to the ways of this fish and it's characteristics.

Well, I have a group of Panaqolus sp. made up exclusively of L104 or so I thought. I ordered 2 WC L104 from Imperial Tropicals that were collected from Columbia. I posted some pictures to the web and immediately one fish's identification was called into question. It would appear that I was sent 1 L104 and 1 L448/LDA 67. J2 in the attached is the L448. The physical characteristic that differentiates one from the other is the presence of lines on the face of a juvenile L448. These occasionally slip into shipments from Columbia.

In my video above I reference odontids on the males aft body section but he also has them on his gill plates which show when he flairs. I did not test for ability to puncture skin.

Added a new juvenile today. Container is approximately 2.25in across.
