sexing methods

now this is the answer i am waiting.
i am a fish breeder and most of them are cichlids,so i am very very very very familiar with the venting method.any other method or "thought so" way of sexing them?
is there also a theory that says females have block spot on their dorsal fins?
again,i really wanna know all other methods even if it's not proven or accurate.just curious guys.

If it lays eggs its a female.
Both genders can have spots or occeli on dorsal and caudal fins.

Well your best bet is to buy like a group of 8 and let them pair off.

not planning to breed them yet......just asking some questions.

typically with 6 you can get a pair and even with 6 you'll need a 300g or larger tank lol.
