Sexing my Jags

I did a search and looked at all the posts on sexing jags and can't seem to get a clear idea on how to sex them so I hope you guys can help me out.
Here is my larger of the 2, she's a lot lighter which makes me think female:

Here's my smaller Jag who is a lot darker:

My knowledge on Jags is crap. But I wanted to guess and say the smaller is a male and the larger is female???

Not big enough to sex visually. They both look female to me right now but that's not 100%.

Thanks, it's my cichla/cichlid growout tank but until I get my other sump setup I have my Arowana and Polys in there too...

Like I said, I could be wrong. The little one might be a male but it's very difficult to tell at that size.

I'm not sure about the second one, I'm pretty sure the first one is a female, the second could be male but leaning towards female. If you go looking for a male pick the one with the most speckles on the lower jaw.

That's what I'd do too. I didn't realize at first it was only 4".
