I'll get some more shots of him up, he looked a lot better when I got him before he got sick. I'm in the process of fatting him up again. Just glad he's ok now.

Thanks headbanger_jib. He's actually a subdominant male or female. Not really sure but I'm leaning towards male since none have paired off. They look pretty mean when they get dark like that

i think your gt is a male also. very nice colors. you should get him a ladie to hang out with. also your electric blue jacks are awesome. i have been looking to get a couple of them but none of the lfs's here really get them

Thanks sin01bst. You have a beauty yourself there I really don't have the room or time at the moment to get him a woman. Maybe in the future.

Do yourself a favor and check out aquabid. Look for a seller named Hollywood. He's a great guy, has an excellent line of EBJD's and terrific prices. If I had to do it all over again, I would have bought from him. At $75 delivered for 5 EBJD, you can't go wrong.

I've kept and bred many GT's over the years, I'm saying with 99% accuracy it's a male, mainly based on the shape of the head. Females tend to have more of a radius, and they usually don't color much. All of my male GT's do have extended dorsal fins so that is the other 1%......

Thanks klmt. They're in a 72gallon bow front, filtered by one Rena XP3 and one AC110. I have another 75g running and cycled, just want to see if all these guys get along for now. They look really good together and seem to be getting along but I know it's too early to tell.

Thanks. Yeah that's Java Moss, what's left of it. I had a bunch in there and removed most of it when I redid the decor. That pic shows what I missed but I left a nicer clump on the other side of the tank.

I'll post up a full tank shot when my camera starts cooperating.
