Beautiful Festae, but Photobucket is such a pain. Seemed like forever to view the fish because if the ads. You are only keeping one?

Thank you. I do find them quite nice looking. And yes Photobucket is a pain. Unfortunatly ive had stuff there for years. What else is better to use? And yes Im only keeping 1. Well.... Unless they both turn out to be females. Then they both are getting rehomed to some other friends. My goal was to end up with a single male. Not looking to add the element of female hormones just yet to a somewhat comunity of fish.
I pm'd you my opinion and I would keep definitely wait as long as you could to allow them to grow someone. But the more I look at the pics I think #1 is male and other is female but like I said in pm, these two are putting on a magic showlol and we could all be wrong once their tru colors are revealed expect for those who guessed m/f who is guaranteed 50% shot lol

Thank you Jason. I got your PM. I know anytime its luck of the draw. But.. One can hope. lol. I will hang on to them for a while longer. Them and a couple other fish are getting moved soon to a 125g grow out tank. We will watch. Thanks for the help buddy!!
No problem. Don't quote me but I think I'm wrong. I just looked thru your photobucket pics of them and and one does look very female. It's body shape looks identical to my female.

In pic 20-22 that festae looks female. Not sure witch it's number is.

I see #1 got plenty spangles and it's got a male frame and head to me.but there's a hint it's going to get black at the dorsal soon.
And #2 is very green and vibrant. If it's that colorful it should have the black dorsal along with all those colors if it's a female. It's got a female frame and head. lol
to me I'll assume #1 is a female, and #2 is a male by these pics. Of course they change up a lot and it is best to have them in your own tank t0 observe and see all the looks they throw out.
it is always fun to sex them lol
we can make good guesses at this size but with a lil more time, let them make it clearer with their colors and markings.
