sexing umbee?

From what I've read this is nearly impossible until they get big, but anybody want to give it a shot? This is the only umbee I've ever seen in real life so bear with me.

I say it's a female because the coloration is very wrong. At that size there should be typical male colors. I have a 4" fish from Ken (the poster before me) and he is already displaying mature colors. The body shape resembles a football on that fish too.

Also, I just agree with Ken because he knows his stuff.

I was hoping it would color up...I've had it about a week but it still looks like it did when i bought it. I think i remember reading something that said if there is black on the dorsal fin it's a female (correct me if I'm wrong) and I saw black yesterday when it got mad at my dovii.

yeah you can notice that after hearing it, i looked at a few pictures and i see it now.
