I'm always looking for lfs, where is the one in fremont? I only know of the chain petstores there.

In Fremont, there is a place called Family Pets...They do carry like oddball fishes there..Right now, all the fishes are 30% off...You should check with them to see if they got any new fishes in since most of their stuff is probably all sold..

I did buy a 7 inch Jurnese Catfish there for $35.00 when it was on sale..

Best place to buy food (Krill) in the Bay Area is Aquatraders in San Bruno, CA....Online the cheapest Krill is probably the San Francisco Bay Freeze Dried Krill 113 grams at Big Als for $12.99. At Aquatraders, they have 85 grams of Krill for $9.99 and if you buy 2 of them you get the third can free so that is 255 grams for $20.00...Not a bad deal..I know the manager there at Aqautraders...

Thanks for posting prices from different fish stores. Hung Ming is my neiborhood and I bought many fish from there. Now I buy from other stores but they are very good there. Aqua traders is very cheap but I went there Sunday and every tank had at least one dead fish in it except the salt water. It was almost like they had bad water or something don't know. Here's a couple I go to. Dragon City on Leland in SF has a bunch of 3-5 in Silver aros for about 20 and the same size australian aro for 28 they also have some nice flowerhorns for big $. Aquatic Central on Ocean in SF also has some real nice Flowerhorns again for alot of coin and a good selection of fish all in good shape.

Thanks for informing me of this place. I didnt buy anything, but I just stood there looking at the loiselli, weird catfish, that big umbee!, and all the other crazy fish I wasnt even sure what they were. I also recommend this place.

Someone mentioned the Boulengerella sp..I found out it is Boulengerella Maculta...Here is a pic from the net and my fishes look like this but a darker purple color..I asked the fish store owner to get some more if he could since I wanted a couple more...Let me know if you are interested.
