What is river rocks? Not looking for large size rocks. Just looking for natural gravels that are a little bit larger than the average size gravels (artificial color).

get your gravel from a landscape and masonry supply yard. it will be about 1/10th the cost and a much wider selection. for example, those nice cave rocks that are usually $3/lb. are $0.24/lb. and the guys at the store laugh about how the fsh stores all go there to buy their rocks and gravel and mark it up 12x

i know theres one landscape place in south san francisco.... its on el camino , between sneath ln and hickey.... sry i dont have the exact address x.x

Sting111,
I live in sonoma, the one i prefer here is H&M, but there are several in the area. To be honest, most of those places have, in general, about the same sort of stock. So i don't really think you need to travel far to go to the one i do. I would just open the phone book or google it to find the place closest to you.

Thanks for the help... anyone has or know of a lfs that have some nice drift wood? Also looking to get 8 thin bar datnoid at 3-5 inch size...
